Rangitikei – A path to well-being conference

The Rangitikei – a path to well-being conference will take place at Taihape Area School on Friday 16th April 2010 with registration from 9.00 am. Confirmed keynote speakers include Hon Simon Power MP, Minister of Justice and Peter Kenyon, Director of Bank of Ideas.

If you or your agency/organisation serves the community in our District in any capacity, then this conference is for you.

What’s in it for you?

We are all working to tackle complex issues that cut across sector and agency boundaries. This conference will help you develop or create the connections you need with other organisations to support you in your particular area.

How will the day be organised?

A wide range of partners and stakeholders have identified the issues for us in our District. These will be discussed in a mixture of plenary with keynote speakers and interactive, participative workshops with invited experts and case studies.

Participants are asked to register - please see the following link for further information: Rangitikei – A path to well-being conference

this was a great way to find out what people are passionate about. Let’s hope the council votes the way they discovered people feel at the conference…and too bad it was not complusory for them to attend.
